A free and confidential NHS service

We all experience difficult times when we feel like we can’t cope. These incidents can affect your everyday life and prevent you from leading a normal life.

If you are suffering from depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, excessive worry or low mood, then VitaMinds can help. VitaMinds works in partnership with the NHS to offer a range of short-term psychological therapies known as IAPT (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies) to adults 16-years and over, who live and are registered with a GP in Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.

VitaMinds is a FREE service and you don’t need to visit a GP to get help –  the options for referring to the service are shown below.

Digital Assistant

Start now by using our digital referral assistant. This will guide you through some questions and take up to 15 mins.

This is the fastest way to access online treatment options such as Webinars or Online Therapy.

By Phone

You can call us to start your referral. We will then arrange an initial assessment.

8am – 8pm Monday to Thursday

We have created a variety of self-help tools that you can use when you are feeling anxious about current affairs. These include some mindfulness activities, simple meditation practices and grounding techniques, as well as links to some mental health charities who have a great range of support available.
