We all experience times when we feel like we can’t cope, sometimes this can start to affect our everyday lives and prevent us from doing the things we normally do.

If you are suffering from depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, excessive worry or low mood, then we can help.

Vita health Group works in partnership with the NHS Talking Therapies to offer a range of short-term psychological therapies, previously known as IAPT (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies) to adults 16-years and over.

NHS Talking Therapies is a FREE service and you don’t need to visit a GP to get help –  the options for referring to the service are below.

How can we help?

We aim to help improve the mental wellbeing of people facing difficulties with:

Depression

When you're depressed you feel persistently sad for weeks or months, rather than just a few days.


Low mood

If low mood is affecting your life, there are things you can try that may help.


Excessive worry or overthinking

Anxiety is a feeling of unease, such as worry or fear, that can be mild or severe.


Excessive worry about your health or physical condition

Stress can cause many different symptoms. It might affect how you feel physically, mentally and also how you behave


Panic attacks

Panic disorder is an anxiety disorder where you regularly have sudden attacks of panic or fear.


Sleep problems

Insomnia means you regularly have problems sleeping


Phobia(s)

A phobia is an overwhelming and debilitating fear of an object, place, situation, feeling or animal.


Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

OCD is a common mental health condition where a person has obsessive thoughts and compulsive behaviours.


Experience of a traumatic event

Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is an anxiety disorder caused by very stressful, frightening or distressing events.
