In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Vita Health Group carries out a Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA) whenever new types of processing are undertaken or new systems are introduced that have the capacity to create a high risk to the security of personal data.

Each Data Protection Impact Assessment involves the systematic evaluation of the information risks associated with the new processing and the determination of appropriate measures and controls that will reduce these risks to a level that enables the Trust to process the personal data in compliance with the data security requirements of GDPR. Completed assessments are authorised by the Data Protection Officer.
