Merger and rebrand of three of the UK’s leading healthcare providers to form a connected health service.

[Bury St Edmunds, UK. July 2019] A leading UK healthcare provider has this month lifted the veil on their new brand, revealing the successful unification of three award-winning healthcare companies as well as a fresh look and feel.

Vita Health Group has formed over the past 3 years, and comprises of three leading UK healthcare providers, each with their own proven track-record and reputation within the physical and mental healthcare industry:

  • RehabWorks (mental and physical health provider; established 1987)
  • Workplace Wellness (mental health provider; established 1989)
  • Crystal Palace Physio Group (physical health provider; established 1998)

The Group has been formed to combine the strengths and expertise of each of the individual entities, with an overall objective to becoming the UK’s leading provider of physical and mental health services. It was felt that a new brand would:

  • Unify everything that the companies do under one umbrella
  • Simplify things for patients, customers and staff
  • Amplify their positive impact, as this brand allows for future growth and expansion

The united brand, Vita Health Group, prides themselves on their diverse teams of experienced clinicians providing both physial services and mental health services to corporate clients, the NHS and to private patients. Physical services range from physiotherapy to group exercise classes and more specialist treatments such as accupuncture and injection therapy. Mental health services offered include cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), guided self-help and group therapy sessions.

The brand name, Vita Health Group was chosen because the word ‘Vita’ (pronounced ‘VEE-TAH’) comes from Latin origins literally meaning ‘life’ or ‘the happy life’, and is also inspired by words such as ‘vitality’ and ‘revitalise’. Supporting the brand name, the company’s strapline, ‘Making People Better’ reflects their commitment not only to their patients, but also to the many organisations that they work in partnership with, as well as their staff.

The logo was also carefully considered. Visually, the logo gives the impression of leaves or of a bird or butterfly about to take flight. It suggests freedom, rebirth and movement – a representation of the revitalisation felt by their patients and customers, as well as their own company. In their overlapping, the ‘leaves’ create three shapes, honouring the three arms of the business. The combination also forms a ‘V’; an iconic symbol of the Vita Health Group brand.

Derrick Farrell, CEO at Vita Health Group, formerly Chief Executive of RehabWorks, says, “We’re so thrilled to reveal our new brand identity following a careful and considerate merging of our businesses. This is an important and exciting moment for us as we push the business towards becoming the leading UK provider of physical and mental health services.”

Stuart Paterson, Deputy CEO at Vita Health Group, formerly managing director and owner of Crystal Palace Physio Group, says, “We’re incredibly proud to have all businesses and employees aligned with our purpose of Making People Better and we’re so pleased that we can now clearly share this mission with more people nationwide under the Vita Health Group banner.”
