Online therapy is ideal if you don’t have time or want to travel. People lead busy lives with work, family, and other responsibilities often coming first. Our online therapy fits around your needs and lifestyle. Our sessions are accessible via smartphone, tablet or home computer, any time of day or night. This treatment option is designed to work around your schedule. What’s more, service reviews prove this option is just as effective as face-to-face treatments.
Our team will ask you to complete a series of modules. These modules are guided by experts and focus on the difficulties you’re experiencing. Our online modules are highly interactive to help you learn, reflect and recover.
These modules can be completed as often as you like and you can work through them in your own time throughout the week. Your dedicated therapist will arrange a regular check-in time for feedback and any questions you may have.
Don’t worry if you’re not in or can’t plan ahead, your therapist will see what you’ve done or the difficulties you’ve had by looking at what you’ve submitted. They will then leave notes and ideas that you can check when it suits you.
We will provide you with an activation link to enable you to access the programme from home. We may also give you some telephone support while you work through the programme. The following information gives more detail on what is involved in the anxiety, depression and stress programmes.
All of our programmes provide you with the tools to tackle anxiety, depression or stress. Importantly, all of our programmes are delivered in a safe and confidential space.
One of Vita’s Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners, or PWPs, will monitor your progress throughout the programme. They will then give you guidance and encouragement through regular reviews. By sharing feedback with your PWP, they will be best placed to respond in a more personal way and provide guidance that’s relevant to your needs. The platform is also secure and private with messages strictly between you and your supporter.
Anxiety is something most of us experience. This online course is about gaining a better understanding of the connection between your thoughts, feelings and behaviour. In doing so, you will garner an increased awareness of your moods and anxious thoughts.
We’ll give you the tools to define and face your anxiety. This step-by-step procedure includes an anxiety monitor chart, coping thoughts tool and worry time app. All of these feed into your goal to learn how to manage your anxiety. This will allow you to challenge anxious thoughts and develop healthy coping strategies.
Our online depression therapy teaches you to observe your moods, thoughts and behaviour patterns. With this understanding, you can better understand how they’re connected. This course will help you spot and challenge negative thoughts, unhelpful patterns and balance your core beliefs. With a little practice, this course will empower you to increase positive behaviours that improve your mood.
