Fitness Class for Older People

Share

Be as fit and healthy as you can be. Age gracefully, with our help!

The Class

Our PREHAB class is designed to help you improve your level of fitness and avoid many of the common ailments sometimes regarded as diseases of ‘old age’. Such as high blood pressure, diabetes and heart problems.

It is possible to train the ‘older body’ to improve balance, strength, muscle power and by doing so reduce the risk of high blood pressure, obesity, diabetes and declining fitness.

A 12 week course of exercise can dramatically improve your strength, walking, general mobility and fitness. Regular exercise is also associated with reduced stress and improved self-esteem and well-being.  Age gracefully in the company of like-minded others, with expert supervision.
