Ergonomic assessments

Vita Health Group specialise in the delivery of evidence-based and cost-effective ergonomic assessments.  Whether you need a simple workstation assessment or support on a much more complex project we can help.

Workstation assessments

Our workstation assessments are performed by Rehabilitation therapists or Physiotherapists who specialise in occupational health and last approximately 45 minutes.

They can be performed face-to-face or digitally depending on your need.  During the assessment our assessor will observe the employee’s workstation and surrounding environment and evaluate if it complies with best practice guidelines and any relevant regulations.

Where possible immediate guidance and modifications to the workstation will be made to minimise risk.

Following the assessment we will provide you with an in-depth report detailing key findings and practical recommendations on how to further reduce risk, or what alternative equipment may be required.

Vehicle assessments

Driving in an uncomfortable position not only increases the risk of developing a musculoskeletal disorder but can also be distracting for the driver which can lead to devastating consequences.

Our vehicle assessments are completed face-to-face by Rehabilitation therapists or Physiotherapists who specialise in occupational health and last approximately 45 minutes.  During the assessment we will try to optimise driving posture to improve comfort and safety.

Following the assessment we will provide you with an in-depth report detailing key findings and practical recommendations on how to further reduce risk, or what alternative equipment may be required.

Ergonomic consultancy

Vita Health Group are experienced at providing ergonomic consultancy across a wide range of industries including utilities; rail; aviation; construction; manufacturing; and distribution.

We specialise in identifying and controlling musculoskeletal and mental health risk factors.

While each ergonomic project is unique it would be typical for us to spend time working closely with our customer to fully understand their aims and objectives; consulting with the workforce and observe them completing any relevant tasks to the project; use a range of objective assessments to quantify risk; and compile an in-depth report on the project.

We can also help our customers to implement the report recommendations.  This may be through the development and delivery of bespoke training; creating collateral materials such as training videos or guidance documents; or conducting further risk assessments.
