Mental Health First Aid - book now for March and April courses
Vita’s new CPD accredited Mental Health First Aid course is specifically designed for the workplace and is available as a two-day course or a one-day fast-track course.
It provides delegates with the skills and confidence to recognise and respond to the signs and symptoms of common mental health conditions and guide a person towards the right support.
They’ll explore common mental health conditions, self-harm and suicide and understand where they can signpost them to for additional support. The importance of a pro-active workplace culture is reviewed, and delegates learn to identify and attend to things at work that might contribute to poor mental health.
A key element of this training is to ensure delegates understand their boundaries and limitations. All delegates who attend this course receive an Advocacy support pack, and gain access to a dedicated support helpline to support them in their advocacy role.
