Equality Action

Equality Action is a longstanding, local charity, established in 1969, that continues to evolve to meet the needs of the community it serves. Since inception we have endeavoured to act as a focal point and source of expertise on matters of equality and diversity for individuals, groups, communities and organisations, drawing upon the experience and knowledge of our staff, trustees, volunteers and partners.

Equality Action is a part of a well trusted network within the local community and a point of contact for practical and emotional support. Our clients know that they can discuss their difficulties with us and feel confident in our ability to help and support them in a holistic manner.

The Bridge

The Bridge (East Midlands) has been working to prevent and relieve homelessness for over 25 years. Our vision is of resilient and compassionate communities where individuals thrive in safe and secure homes.

Our eleven services work with various client groups such as low-income families, rough sleepers, ex-offenders, young people and more. We understand that housing crisis does not end with a roof and bed, and so we support people holistically to achieve stable housing and brighter futures.

The Centre

Leicester LGBT Centre is a small but growing charity. The Centre aims to provide safe, accessible, and appropriate services and support to combat social isolation, exclusion, and discrimination that LGBT+ people face, and promote a positive environment that empowers those who are LGBT+ and educate those who are not.

The Centre offers a range of social and support services and groups, including groups for young people and adults, Counselling Services, events and 1-1 support. The Centre also offers a range of training & consultancy, and education and support packages.
