BNSSG – what happens when you refer to our service

When you are referred to our service, it is standard practice for us to liaise with GPs and other health and social care organisations in order to gather relevant information which supports us in making decisions about your care. In addition, we use a digital care record system called Connecting Care. This allows relevant information from your digital records to be shared securely with other health and social care professionals, making your care safer and more efficient.

Face to face service provision – Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire will begin to offer face to face therapy provision once more from 4th October 2021. In line with recommendations from NHS England, we will be operating a hybrid model of service provision with a mixture of digital, telephone and face to face options for appointments going forward.

Please note at this time given the positive impact our webinars have had in helping those we work with to improve their wellbeing, we will continue to offer all our group provision via a digital platform until the new year.
