Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

A structured, goal-oriented therapy that focuses on identifying/ changing negative thought patterns and behaviours. It’s effective for treating anxiety, depression, and other mental health conditions.

Two people sit in armchairs, engaged in a conversation. One person gestures with their hands while the other holds a tablet. The setting appears to be an office or therapy room.

Counselling

Focuses on exploring your thoughts and emotions, providing a safe and confidential space to talk about your feelings and experiences. Ideal for those dealing with life changes and relationship issues.

A young man wearing a dark green shirt sits forward on a chair with his hands clasped together as he talks to a woman with long dark hair and a pen and notebook in her hand.

How online therapy works

The service is available to UK residents over the age of 18 and you do not need a GP referral to book.

  • Book and choose your therapist online.
  • Sessions will be either by video call or telephone.
  • Sessions are typically 50-60 minutes. You will agree at your first session with your therapist how many sessions are likely to be required and the frequency of these appointments.
  • You and your therapist will create a personalised treatment plan focused on your goals and what you wish to achieve in therapy.
